Unfortunately that day did not come and I’ll forever regret not taking that trip with her.
Personally I am a huge fan of travel and the benefits it can have both mentally and physically. I love all things adventure and some of my favourites include the Everest Base Camp Trek, an African Safari, a New Zealand bus tour and recently an incredible trip to Japan, exploring the new, old, mountainous and tropical parts of the country!
I want to help families have a memorable holiday with their loved one and not be constrained by extortionate travel insurance costs. Together, we can make this possible.

Over the years, escaping into the wild, experiencing new cities, different cultures, and spending time with those I love most, are my most treasured moments in life. These moments may be more important than ever during especially challenging times, and the privilege to help make these moments a reality for others, regardless of a diagnosis, is what drives me to be part of In My Wildest.
I have 14 years commercial experience, beginning at Tesco as a fruit buyer, and now proudly lead a Sales team in the Beauty sector. It was my honour to be awarded ‘Inspirational Leader’ at work, recognising my passion to grow and support my team, and for challenging the status quo and championing sustainability. I am well versed in making big ambitions a reality, and I am excited to put my experience to good use to make a meaningful difference.
Cancer is a relentless disease that impacts so many people, and their loved ones. Whilst we are supporting with just one of many challenges that people living with cancer face, we hope that escaping into the wild, in whatever form that may be, creates moments to cherish forever.
With over 20 years of experience in marketing, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide variety of projects, honing skills in planning, branding, and community outreach. I’m excited to bring this expertise to In My Wildest, contributing to the charity’s impact.

I’m truly honoured to be a trustee for In My Wildest, a charity that means a great deal to me. Our mission is to help cancer sufferers cover the cost of insurance premiums when they go on holiday, allowing them to focus on making memories rather than worrying about financial burdens. Having recently experienced a health scare myself, I’ve become all too aware of how challenging and costly travel insurance can be for those with health concerns. As someone who loves to travel, I understand how important these experiences are, especially for those who’ve faced the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. I believe everyone deserves the chance to explore the world and enjoy a break from reality, and I’m committed to helping make that possible.
As a passionate Dad, as well as my love for music and sports I’ve always been driven to be part of something bigger than myself. I'm eager to channel that energy and dedication into supporting our mission at In My Wildest, ensuring we make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
Being part of a team that makes a real difference in people’s lives is incredibly rewarding, and I’m looking forward to all we can achieve together.

Over the past 40 years I have worked at all levels directly supporting individuals and families to achieve their potential. I have worked in the private sector, the third sector, as well as Local Authority, the NHS and housing sectors predominantly promoting inclusiveness to address power imbalances across communities I have served. Promoting a culture that everything is possible turning ‘Impossible’ into “I’m Possible” mindset.
I thoroughly enjoy spending time nurturing my grandchildren, inspiring our next generation believing anything is possible, seeing each challenge as an opportunity to explore life. I enjoy the outdoors, and recently walked the Cheshire Sandstone Trail (34 miles) for charity in one day. Whilst volunteering I was proud to receive an award from Mr Simon Weston CBE. An honour and privilege to be in his company, an inspiration of life.
It is my pleasure being a trustee for https://inmywildest.com/ what we plan to achieve and how we achieve our vision, and aspirations aligns to my personal values. Delivering on our shared vision “We help to make travel possible for people living with cancer”.

I have taken part in several 10k races and more recently attempted a 50k ultra-Marathon in Snowdonia. I may not have completed the race but learnt so much myself and about why people put themselves out there to help others. I’m highly motivated by the impossible and not afraid to fail if it means I have raised money and awareness for ‘In My Wildest’.
My drive to make a difference comes from my own experiences—having close family members diagnosed with cancer and being lucky enough to go on family holidays post diagnosis has pushed me to do what I can to help. That’s why I decided to join one of closest friends Shaun in fulfilling his ambition to make In My Wildest a success. I'm determined to help those battling cancer and make sure they get the support they need to fulfil their travel wishes.
